Classes to suit everyone

Our classes
Preschool Dance
Start moving your bodies, little ones! Our preschool dance classes introduce students to basic dance moves and start learning to follow teacher instructions. It’s a fun and nurturing class for 3 to 5-year-old girls and boys. Classes cover jazz, ballet, tap, creative movement and singing. Bringing music and movement to life, children develop rhythm and coordination. Students grow in confidence to start on their dancing journey.
Classical Ballet
Learn to dance with grace and control. Classical ballet technique gives you the foundations of all dance styles. Our little ballet dancers are inspired by tutus and ballet slippers, but as children grow their ballet develops into technique, strength, and musicality. Senior students will even progress to Pointe work. While it looks soft and elegant, ballet takes strength, coordination and discipline, and is perfect for students to learn to control their movements and harness concentration. Classes include barre, centre, demi and national character dances, and Comdance exam work.
Acro
Build your acrobatic skills to incorporate tumbling, jumps and flips into dance routines! This style combines dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. Our classes focus on strength, conditioning, flexibility and balance. In modern dance, acro has become a must-have for students – not to mention, they absolutely love it!
Jazz/Hip Hop
Learn powerful show-stopping moves in our jazz and hip-hop classes. Modern styles to popular music, classes are energetic and develop flexibility, strength and fitness. From kicks, turns, leaps and floorwork, to street styles of breaking, popping and krumping – dance classes are diverse and fun! Senior classes stretch their skill sets into lyrical and contemporary dance. Classes include technique, routines and Comdance jazz syllabus work.
Contemporary
Explore the flow and strength of interpretative dance. Contemporary combines techniques of ballet and jazz, using body movements to express the music and convey a story. Students learn fluidity, control and expression without the strict structure of classical ballet. This freeing style of dance is usually done in bare feet.
Singing
For those who love singing, let your voice be heard! Learn to sing through vocal warm-ups, technique, breathing, posture and diction practice. Then learn to perform with microphone techniques and crafting your stage presence! Our vocal classes are held in small classes or private lessons. Singing students get the opportunity to perform and gain confidence in front of supportive audiences.
Tap Dance
Explore rhythm and beats with your feet! Learn the classy styles of Ginger Rogers and Gene Kelley to the modern industrial tap stylings of Tap Dogs. Our youngest tappers simply love making sound with their metal-plated tap shoes, and you can’t wipe the smiles from their faces. It’s like a percussion instrument for their feet – students learn rhythm, syncopation, and improvisation. Classes include technique, routines and Comdance syllabus work.
Musical Theatre
Love the idea of stage performances that combine dancing, singing, and acting? Our musical theatre classes develop skills in a variety of stage styles. Imagine scenes from musicals that combine music and movement. Learn a combination of dance styles in one lesson. This class style is perfect for those wanting a bit of everything.
